BATPOD DIECAST MOTORCYCLE

Situated atop a nameplate base, the Batman Die-Cast 11” Batpod Statue features metal sections and rubber wheels. Requisitioned by Bruce Wayne from obscurity in Wayne Enterprises’ Applied Sciences Division, the Tumbler, initially tested and further modified by Wayne, served as a means of solidifying Batman’s edge against Gotham City’s rampant criminal element. Outfitted with a reconfigurable driving cockpit, the heavily-armored Tumbler provides the option of ejecting the smaller Batpod cycle vehicle. In The Dark Knight, the damage sustained by the Tumbler necessitated the implementation of the much narrower and maneuverable Batpod, which enabled Batman to circumvent traffic and tear through an indoor shopping mall. The Batpod was ultimately undone by the Joker himself, when the latter stood in place taunting Batman to hit him, forcing Batman to veer around the Joker at the last instant, which caused the Batpod to skid out of control.
